A Family Business Built on Strong Foundations
Webb Groundworks is a well-established, reliable, family-run groundworks contractor based in the heart of Surrey, working across the surrounding counties. With an excellent reputation for providing competitive, helpful and dependable services, we are proud to have built strong relationships with many returning clients.
Webb Groundworks was formed by Simon Webb in 1983 and has remained a true family business ever since. After building the company’s reputation and values over many years, Simon handed over the reins to son Matt Webb in 2011.
The transition marked the beginning of a new chapter while maintaining the same principles that have always defined Webb Groundworks: reliability, quality workmanship, competitive pricing and a personal approach to every project. These values have been firmly cemented into the business and continue to guide the way we work today.
With decades of experience passed down through the family, Webb Groundworks combines traditional values with modern working practices to deliver a dependable and professional service to every client.
Health and safety is our number one priority. We operate under a comprehensive health and safety policy, supported by project-specific risk assessments and method statements that are continuously monitored and updated throughout each project. Our procedures are also independently audited by a qualified health and safety consultant, helping us maintain the highest standards of compliance and best practice across all our works.
We own and operate our own range of plant and machinery, including excavators and dumpers from 20-tonne machines through to 1-tonne micro excavators and dumpers. By reducing our reliance on plant hire, we can improve efficiency and pass those savings directly on to our customers.
Every project is completed to the highest possible standard. With 40 years of experience in the construction industry, Webb Groundworks has developed a trusted network of suppliers and specialist subcontractors. This enables us to source competitive, high-quality products and work with reliable professionals we know we can depend on.
Whether you require excavation, drainage, foundations, earthworks or complete groundworks project management, Webb Groundworks provides a reliable, professional service from start to finish.
